North Beach is Open for Business!
As everyone knows, this is an extremely difficult time for small businesses everywhere in San Francisco, including in our own North Beach neighborhood. We ask everyone living in and around North Beach to support local businesses that are open, even with limited hours and services, by patronage when ever possible, but particularly during this current COVID-19 crisis.
Many North Beach businesses which are not deemed “essential” have also set up GoFundMe fundraisers to support their loyal staff and meet basic business expenses in order to survive this quarantine period.
We’ve compiled a list of businesses (by category) that are open as normal, or are operating with special hours, contactless delivery, pick up or take out services, as well as those who are humbly requesting your generous monetary support!
For the health and safety of the staff providing these services, and our community at large, please practice safe habits, including hand washing and sanitizing, wearing a mask and or gloves, and most importantly, maintaining social distancing when entering for services of any kind. Let’s protect and support each other during this time. Together we will get through this!
